Our scholarships recognize students across various academic fields. To be eligible, you must be a UCU member for at least two years. We’ll announce the recipients at our next Annual General Meeting.

UCU Michael Rebryk Memorial Scholarship

For students showing community involvement & studying in the fields of either sports & recreation or perfoming arts (music, dance, drama, etc.).

One award of $2,500

For a student enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a post-secondary field of study that will lead to a career in journalism (print, online, TV, or radio) or photojournalism, & who can demonstrate community involvement.

One award of $2,000
