Message from UCU on COVID-19

Dear Members,

Like you, we at Ukrainian Credit Union Limited have been following with concern the news on the spread of the COVID-19 virus around the world and now the World Health Organization’s declaration of a pandemic.

UCU has been taking measures to help protect our staff and members from infection, and to assure the proper operations of your credit union.

We look to you as a member to do your part as well. If you have travelled or been in contact with anyone who has travelled in the past two weeks, or have a cough or fever, please avoid coming to visit us in person.

Instead, if you are not signed up for or cannot use our online banking channel or mobile app, please call the call centre at 416-922-4407 or 1-800-461-0777, email us at, or call your branch to process your transaction.

If you are not currently subscribed to online banking or our mobile app, we encourage you to call your branch or call centre and we can set this up for you.

Should you, your family, or your business encounter financial hardship due to the pandemic, please contact us to see what we can do to assist you with your loan payments or other financial needs.

All of our efforts are guided by the credit union’s pandemic management plan and current information available from health authorities. Our goal is to maintain the strength and resilience of UCU in uncertain times so that we can continue to provide our members with reliable service.

If you have any questions please email us at:

Co-operatively yours,

Taras Pidzamecky, UCU Chief Executive Officer
